Spring Accessories and Totes

Tote Bag, Barrington Gifts | Hat, Chicos | Oxford, J Crew Factory | Shorts, J Crew Factory| Sandals, Kate Spade I've been loving the spring weather lately, and I decided to put together my ideal spring outfit with a few of my favorites! A large tote like this one from Barrington Gifts is a wardrobe must for me. Half of my belongings end up in my purse, so a large tote bag is mandatory! I love that you can completely customize the color and pattern of the tote and even add your monogram! The sun hat is to die for and adds the perfect spring time touch to the look. Paired with a white oxford, white sandals, and colorful shorts, this hat is the icing on the cake. What are your favorite springtime accessories?

Style Bite: Starbucks Cups Are Not Accessories

The amount of Starbucks Cup "Selfies" circulating around Instagram, Pinterest, and the internet in general just makes me giggle. I myself am so guilty of this (see above), but seriously? If you don't take a picture of your Starbucks cup, did you really drink it? No. Obviously. So make sure to include your Starbucks beverage in your next Outfit of the Day or other fashion related post, because your outfit just isn't properly accessorized until you include your morning latte! PS. If you want to make your Starbucks Selfies even more noteworthy, you should probably consider adding glitter to your Starbucks cold cup. Because I mean, why not?

For those of you that aren't familiar with the chinoiserie style of interior design, here is a quick definition to fill you in! chi·noi·se·rie, noun- a style in art (as in decoration) reflecting Chinese qualities or motifs; also :  an object or decoration in this style To get my get my creative juices flowing, I put together a Lilly…

How to Make Your First Apartment Look Expensive

This is a continuation from my first post, How To Make Your Home Look Expensive. In addition to reading this post, I highly encourage you to head over there and read it! There are a ton of interior design tips and tricks that will really make a difference in making your first apartment or space look expensive and pulled together. As my college friends are getting older, a lot of them are making the transition from dorm living into their first apartment. This was an amazing process for myself, but I definitely have some regrets. I now have a lot of furniture pieces that don't really make a cohesive statement and fail to give off the expensive look that I would love my apartment to have. Purchase With Purpose My number one mistake when…

Sunshine please come back. What did you do this week?  XOXO.
