I’m excited to make some of the Halloween decorations that I have planned this year! I’ve seen so many great decoration ideas and wanted to share them with you! A lot of these are better than store bought decorations in my opinion and much scarier at that. The only thing that’s scary about some store bought decorations is the price tag!
Spooky Witch Head
I love this super easy tutorial that Dria created over on DIO Home Improvements! Be sure and check out this tutorial and some of her other Halloween decoration tutorials! This lady is the queen of Halloween!
Wheel Barrow Full of Bones
This is a great decoration element that you can make using things that you probably already have in your garage. Fill a wheelbarrow with dirt and break apart a store bought skeleton and you’re in business! You could even go the extra mile and add a rubber snake or cockroach.
Spooky Beware Sign
I love this easy to make beware sign. Take an old board laying around and add some twine and stick letters using a staple gun. The rougher the sign looks, the scarier it looks! I’m definitely going to make this for my apartment door!
Glowing Severed Hands
This is an easy, spooky idea if you have a swimming pool in your backyard! Place a glow stick in a rubber glove filled with water and throw it in the pool! If you don’t have a pool handy then fill up a large bucket or barrel with water in place the severed hands in that!
Rat Infested Pumpkin
This a creative, easy to make, spin off on a traditional porch pumpkin! Cut large holes in the pumpkin and place plastic rats in the holes.
This is another example of a creative porch pumpkin! Carve up a smaller pumpkin and place it in the larger pumpkin’s mouth to create a cannibal pumpkin decoration.
These hanging ghost heads are so creepy! Martha Stewart is a Halloween genius! I’m going to make these and hang them on my balcony.
This is my favorite Halloween wreath that I’ve come across! I love it’s simplistic, creepy appearance!
Keep your eyes peeled for my Halloween Party post! Enjoy these spooky ideas!
