Pantone Color of the Year: 2015

Marsala: Pantone Color of the Year 2015, Interiors and Fashion Finds | Progression By Design

Well everyone, it’s that time of the year again. With a new year comes a new Pantone Color of the Year! Last year it was all about Radiant Orchid, and this year Marasala, a warm red-brown! I could not be happier with Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of Pantone. In my wardrobe and interiors I am instantly drawn to jewel tones and warmer hues. Bring on the navy, emerald green, and now Marasala!

“This tasteful hue embodies the satisfying richness of a fulfilling meal while its grounding red-brown roots emanate a sophisticated, natural earthiness. This hearty, yet stylish tone is universally appealing and translates easily to fashion, beauty, industrial design, home furnishings and interiors. ”

Marsala instantly brings warmth into an interior and adds a rich fullness to the space. It pairs nicely with neutrals and complimentary colors like green! On the fashion side of things, Marsala is flattering when worn by both genders.

Here are some of my favorite Marsala fashion picks of the season!
